At Fuelled & Framed, we put quality at the forefront of our frame production. After all, a frame this special demands only the very best materials and build processes.
'But how are they made?', we hear you ask!
Well, that depends on the metal in question...
Our steel frames are laser-cut from mild steel plates (S275-grade material) -- cold rolled & pickled.
The metal is formed at room temperature, resulting in a super-clean surface that's smoother than a fresh set of slicks.
A CNC machine forms the recesses, drills the holes and engraves our logo with exacting precision.
We use 6082 T6-grade aluminium to create a frame as robust as it is unique.
Our 'ally' frames are created using a waterjet cutter, which shapes the metal using a high-pressure jet of water.
Just like our steel frames, the CNC machine forms the recesses, drills the holes and engraves our logo.
And voilà! The dropped 'n' drilled I-beam frame is born. But before the frames are start line-ready, we step in to add some finishing touches:
Our steel frames are meticulously cleaned, prepped and clear coat powder-coated with a gloss finish that protects while highlighting the natural beauty of the metal.
Our aluminium frames receive a semi-polished finish that enhances the natural luster of the metal while maintaining its distinctive character.
Only then are they truly ready for your wall!
